Most require you make AT LEAST 2.5 - 3x the amount of monthly rent in income. Non-refundable application fees usually vary between $50-$100 for each 18 + adult for each rental. Deposit to secure is usually equal to 1 month’s rent + 1st month’s rent (due up front — ex: if rent is $1000/month, you’ll likely need $2000 for 1st month’s rent and deposit move-in fee — sometimes it is up to 3x the monthly amount).

You also may encounter fees for pets, keys, gate clickers, cleaning, etc.
